The goal and priority of the Free Academy of Tbilisi is integration into the European space - the Academy should be an outstanding higher education institution not only in Georgia, but in the international arena as well, and should become a worthy representative of the European community.

 

The Academy has achieved significant success in terms of internationalization. The network of international partner universities was expanded, the involvement of academic staff and students in the process of international mobility was implemented and launched, and the English-language undergraduate programme was developed.

 

Currently, the Academy cooperates with partner universities of 15 countries. A joint research project has been started - in particular, together with Ruse University in Bulgaria, the Academy is implementing an important research project on the topic - "Property as a constitutional right".

 

The International Relations Service of the Academy ensures deepening of international relations of the Academy and promotion of internationalization and various international activities are carried out under its initiative. International scientific conferences are organized annually in the Academy, the active participants of which are academic and scientific staff, students, graduates and other interested parties both inside and outside the country. The Academy also publishes an international refereed journal "Academlab", where all interested persons can publish an article (an annual international scientific conference has been held in the Academy since 1996 (a total of 23 (twenty-three) conferences).
